Thammasat University Regulations
on Personnel Management for University Employees (No. 5), B.E. 2567 (2024)

As it is deemed appropriate to amend the Thammasat University Regulations on Personnel Management for University Employees,
By virtue of the authority vested in Sections 23 and 76 of the Thammasat University Act, B.E. 2558 (2015), and the University Council in its 12/2566 meeting on November 28, 2566 (2023), the following regulations are issued:
Section 1 This regulation shall be called “Thammasat University Regulations on Personnel Management for University Employees (No. 5), B.E. …”
Section 2 This regulation shall come into force from the day following its announcement.
Section 3 The provision in (b) of Section 15 of the Thammasat University Regulations on Personnel Management for University Employees, B.E. 2559 (2016), as amended by the Thammasat University Regulations on Personnel Management for University Employees (No. 4), B.E. 2563 (2020), shall be repealed and replaced with the following:
“(b) Researchers shall have the following academic positions:
(1) Senior Specialist Researcher
(2) Specialist Researcher
(3) Senior Researcher
(4) Researcher”
Section 4 The following shall be added as the third paragraph of Section 15/3 of the Thammasat University Regulations on Personnel Management for University Employees, B.E. 2559 (2016), as amended by the Thammasat University Regulations on Personnel Management for University Employees (No. 4), B.E. 2563 (2020):
“Researchers in the academic support line who hold the position of Senior Researcher before this regulation comes into force, upon changing their status to academic researchers, shall continue to hold the position of Senior Researcher in the academic line until they are appointed to the position of Senior Specialist Researcher according to these regulations.”
